About Amber Alert GPS

Amber Alert GPS was founded in September, 2007 by Russell Thornton, a concerned parent who has felt the desperate panic of losing a child temporarily.  After losing his 4 year old son at a family fun center for 45 minutes, he was determined to find a solution.  Amber Alert GPS was inspired by the many disappearing acts of Russell’s son Dallin.
