Amber  Alert GPS was well represented in the Grand Ballroom by Joseph Stith,VP of Sales, his lovely wife, Vicki, Alan Weidner, VP of SEO/Web/Affiliate marketing, and his wife, Mona.

The food was fantastic and many of the guests were remarkable. Dyllan Bayles sang “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables better than any other rendition we had heard. It was phenomenal. Caleb Chapman ans his 13-18 year old jazz band was fantastic….great big-band sound. David Archuleta, of American Idol fame, was one of the presenters as was Mark Eaton, former Jazz star and local restauranteur. A wonderful evening.

WARNING: Posting Smartphone pictures can track you or your kids!!

Although our company is all about locating your child, this type of child locating may not be what you want happening to your family. This is quite frightening, so I thought you’d want to know what others can find out about your location and the location of your children just through photos taken with your SMART phone.  If  anyone in your family has a Smartphone you should watch  this………Think  children or grand children. The clip describes the problem and how to prevent it. Here is link to a YouTube video that explains everything…

Amber Alert GPS ARMOR is Here!

It is a month over due, but the new Amber Alert GPS ARMOR child tracking device has finally arrived. The elves at the workshop have been busy all week prepping the units for delivery. If you ordered one, you should be getting it this week or next, if you haven’t received it already.

As you may or may not know, the ARMOR has an exciting new feature, called Predator Alert, which we are very excited about. You can be notified by our GPS device every time your child goes near the residence of a registered sex offender.  Great peace of mind. The new device also boasts longer battery life, which is the downfall of many products in this industry. You can even get the extended battery which will give you even more battery life.

You can even download an app to your SMART phone to track directly from the app on your phone. You will have real-time tracking that will give you up to the minute details on your child’s whereabouts.

Check it out here: https://www.amberalertgps.com/products/gps_tracking/amber_alert_gps_armor/

New Amber Alert GPS ARMOR Update!

Well, it has been absolutely crazy around here lately, what with the launch of our new ARMOR child tracking device. This is the ultimate child locator and we have been working on it for almost a year. We have FCC and SAR certification on the new device and will have PTCRB certification on December 1st.  This may all be greek to you, but what it means is that our new Amber Alert GPS ARMOR child locator device will meet all the standards for mobile devices in North America. In other words, no corners being cut…we are getting the best and most qualified device ready for the market.

It was supposed to have been shipped on November 1, 201o but because of testing delays for certification we have to delay it till the end of this month. Here are two changes we made to this new device that we thought we were going to have when we started:

1. no temperature alert. The testing was getting very skewed results which, if relied upon by a parent, would drive us all to drinking! The numbers, being the temperatures, were so off the chart, that if our child went outside on a cold wintery day, the temperature might read 100 degrees. So, that didn’t work for us. We will continue to work on it and may introduce it again at some later time, but for now it is being shelved.

2. the two way voice is going back to one way voice monitoring. Our microphone is not loud enough so we will go back to simple voice monitoring, which was a popular feature on our old 2G device. Possibly in our next shipment we will have the 2-way voice monitoring working as optimally as we expect it.

Well, that’s the update for today. Lots of excitement here at Amber Alert GPS about this new device. The new predator alert will knock your socks off!

The Importance Of Finding Kidnapped Children Quickly

The news seems to be constantly filled with stories of children who are taken from their usual routines by both acquaintances and even family and in some cases these children are never seen again. Other than a few rare well publicized incidents such as Elizabeth Smart the children that are seen again are found fairly quickly to be return to their families.

If you ask an authority on the subject the first few hours after and abduction are crucial to a child returning home safely as the longer they are gone the better chance they will not be found again. The longer a child is with an abductor the wider the potential search area can become and without a clear idea of where the child is being taken man power can become so spread out the search becomes futile.

Just a few years ago parents had nothing they could do to potentially save their child in this situation and that was to teach their child not to talk to strangers or get in their cars. Parents today have technology on their side and can place a personal tracking device on their child in order to be able to locate them at any given time. With this information coordinates can be passed on to a cell phone that contain the location of a child so that authorities can recover them in that precious first few hours.

While the odds of it happening to any one family are slim it can happen and for those who are prepared finding their child in an emergency is a snap with a personal tracking device such as the Amber Alert all for a low cost that is worth every penny for a little peace of mind.

Missing Children’s Day in Florida Today

We received this email from one of our Amber Alert GPS affiliates. Though you might like to know…
Good morning wanted to remind all of you that tomorrow is Missing Children’s Day here in Florida. Ceremony at the State Capitol 10 am, Governor Crist presiding. Joyce and I are unable to make it due to prior commitments however it is a time to reflect on the over 3800+ Missing Floridians as well as the people who help find them and bring them home for the good or the bad.  Nationally there are approximately 101,000 missing on any given day.
Our daughter Jennifer is one of those who still remain missing, www.findjenniferkesse.com and we will not stop our efforts to find her and bring her home where she belongs.

I have quoted this before yet it holds so true
” The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it” – Albert Einstein

Respectfully,

The Destination Alert Feature On The Amber Alert GPS Device

As kids get older they want to be given more and more independence so they can do things on their own. It starts with little things like kids wanting to feed themselves and grows to bigger things like wanting to ride their bike to school. For parents it can be hard to give up doing these things for their child but allowing them to grow up is something that must happen even if the chances of them getting hurt are there.

For parents who have a child who wants to start walking to school or riding their bike alone to school there is a little peace of mind they can purchase to make this little bit of freedom easier to give to their child. The Amber Alert GPS child locator is a handy device that allow parents to find the exact location of their child at any given time. While this is a comforting device that is easy to use and small enough that it can be worn around the neck or wrist of the child it has several great features that make it even more handy than just simple personal tracking.

The device also includes a destination alert which parents can program into the web interface that will send an alert to their cell phone when their child arrives at any chosen destination. Now when a child heads off to school parents will not have to worry about if they arrived safely or not since this GPS tracking device will alert them that they did either via cell phone or email. The peace of mind makes giving a child some freedom as they get older a little easier to do despite the fact we all want to kesep our children young and safe.
