Amber Alert GPS in Hong Kong!

As most of you probably know, Amber Alert GPS is not just a product for North America. We have distributors all over the world. We just got these pics from our distributor for the Far East and they are of buses in Hong Kong. If you look closely you’ll see the Amber Alert GPS logo on the outside of the buses. Pretty cool, eh? Well, there is a huge demand for tracking devices outside of the USA. We get all the Amber Alert news here, but in other countries kidnapping and missing kids/adults is like an epidemic. One fellow we do business with is from Venezuela, and he has been abducted 3 times!! People are abducted and then a ransom is placed on them for their safe return. That is how some scoundrels make money in other countries.

Can Just Anyone Track My Child With The Amber Alert GPS?

Many parents enjoy the idea of having a device, which enables them to track their child as they go about their day away from home at school and with friends. But many parents worry that a device such as the Amber Alert GPS which utilizes GPS satellites to locate them at any time will attract the wrong kind of attention. Some parents falsely believe that those who may have bad intentions will intercept the signal or somehow access the unit and locate the child in order to kidnap or otherwise take the child away. For divorced and single parents this is their primary concern with estranged parents who may want to take custody.

The Amber Alert child tracking device is much safer than that though and parents need not worry about the technology working against them in the attempt to protect their child. Only those who they allow access to the unit will be allowed to see where the child is located at any given time. This is done via a handy easy to operate tracking website where parents can name up to five trusted friends and family members who are allowed access to the child tracking device. These names can be easily edited and changed at any given time as needed in the child’s best interest.

Through this web interface parents can also manage their own personal information should they need to change phone numbers or any other data. But parents do not have anything to fear with outsiders getting access to the unit. Only those they allow access to the unit or actually tell their interface password to will be allowed to in at any given time to see where the child is located.

Ensuring Your Phone Will Work With The Amber Alert GPS

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 1:13 pm

The Amber Alert GPS child tracking device is extremely useful at keeping track of kids of just about any age, but in order to access the location at any given time a cell phone is required to do so. While most modern cell phones will work with the unit just right it is important to make sure that your particular service and phone are adequate.

The first step to being able to access the child tracking device is to have cell phone service in the first place. While it is typical to have cell service while you are at home this is not a problem usually. But when away from home on vacation a cell phone signal may not always be around limiting your access to the network.

If your phone has cell phone service than you phone will need to be capable of receiving a text message since this is how the GPS tracking unit will deliver the coordinates of where the child is currently located at. Without texting capabilities the phone will be useless along with the Amber Alert GPS.

While most phones have texting capabilities getting the coordinates will not be a problem, but in order to see on a map where the child is located web access will be needed. The majority of phones available today have this ability but not all users have a service plan that will accommodate this or do not know how to access it.

If parents have any doubt if their cell phone or service plan will handle working with this GPS tracking unit it is important that they contact their provider to ask that they have texting and web capabilities. For many though, these features on their cell phone are things they use each and every day in their daily lives. Accessing them along with the Amber Alert GPS will feel just like second nature.

Amber Alert Works…But The Internet Helps Predators!

I just read this article about the success or the Amber Alert system. It is wonderful to hear about the lives that are being saved and children being found thanks to this wonderful program. What really surprised me was the statistic that a child goes missing in the USA every 40 seconds. That is simply amazing. I am sure a lot of them are missing temporarily and that mom and dad  just lost track of them somehow, but every 40 seconds? Mind boggling. Of course, the AAGPS child tracking device would go a long way to helping solve this issue.

Another scary thing is the number of predators who are online trying to connect with our kids through Facebook, MySpace, etc. The article mentions a YouTube video that tells predators how to target and identify children online. Is that sick or what? Well, check out the article, for the good and the bad…

What Does The New Amber Alert GPS 2G Cost? Is That The Right Question?

OK, after the “How Does It Work Question”, it seems like the #1 question on everyone’s mind is the “Price Question”.

In other words… what is this new-fangled, life-saving Amber Alert GPS 2G child tracking device going to cost?

That seems like a fair enough question…

BUT IT’S THE WRONG QUESTION !!!!!

Now I don’t want to be too hard on you here - I know that you probably have a budget to work around and you want to save as much money as possible on everything you by. Heck, we all do that!

You are probably thinking “How can I afford this 2G child tracking device with all the expenses I already have to pay every month?”

Well, that is where everyone is all turned around. The real question you should be asking is:

“How much is my child’s life worth and how much is my own peace of mind worth?”

You see, having an accurate child tracking device could go so far as to save your child’s life…do you fully and completely get that? The “price” of a product compared to the “value” of your child are totally different things. You have heard the old statement “You can’t put a price on your child’s life”. Well, that certainly may be cliche but it applies, wouldn’t you agree?

There are some things that you learn to spend every month that you can’t live without, even though, at the time, you wondered if it was really worth it.

Think of a cell phone, for those of you who have one, or the internet, which pretty much everyone reading this blog post has in their home or business. I remember wondering why I needed a cell phone or why I needed high speed internet. Now, I can’t imagine living without them. As a matter of fact, my whole business revolves around cell phones and internet to run this Amber Alert GPS business. I KNOW that you will feel the same way about the 2G child tracking device once you start using it every day.

Here is a comment from someone on this very blog:

” I’m willing to pay $200-$400 to insure my child’s safety, this is very important to me. Even if I need to cut back in other areas to make sure I can afford this.

Then again I have a child that is 10 years old and has little to no verbal communication.

I see this as an absolute must in my circumstance.”

Do you see where I am going here?

For the last couple of weeks I have been trying to change the way you look at child safety and the devices that are available to ensure it. It truly is a tool to keep your children safe, not to mention to give you peace of mind all day long.

It should be a hedge against abductors, sexual abusers, pedophiles, and, much more commonly, against poor decision-making skills of our little children. It is really an investment that will pay for itself over and over with each day you get to spend with your smiling, carefree, and precious child. It should never be considered an expense.

Now, having said all this, I can tell you that we are putting together a special August launch package only for those folks who have signed up for our Child Safety Tips newsletter (go here to sign up now, if you haven’t done so already: http://www.amberalertgps.com/free_ebook.html ).

We are still working on the details of it, but I should be able to present it to you within the next week. It will include promotional discount pricing as well as some bonus gifts that will make getting started very affordable!

Amber Alert GPS Would Have Helped In Las Vegas!

I have been thinking a lot lately about this boy that was kidnapped in Las Vegas, for whom the Amber Alert system had been activated.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/10/19/nevada.boy/index.html

Fortunately, everything worked out just fine. The boy was found safe and sound walking down a street in Vegas. I hate to be self-promoting, but our Amber Alert GPS system would have saved the nation of an Amber Alert and, more importantly, it would have saved the family of this boy all the anguish I am sure they went through.

If they had just had this little device in the pocket or backpack or belt of their son, they could have called the Amber Alert GPS unit with their cell phone and, presto, they would have known exactly where he was. Especially with the new 2G model coming out in February, they could have located him within 10-15 feet of his actual location!

Holy Cow! What stress that would have prevented. Oh well…folks just need to be educated about the unit. As a matter of fact, we just put up a power point presentation about how it works along with some videos explaining how it could help you as a parent on the home page. Here is a link to the powerpoint presentation;

http://www.amberalertgps.com/assets/files/aagps_info_ppt.pdf

Well, I’m glad I got this off my chest. It is so frustrating that I can’t tell the world right now that we can save lives…that children can be tracked when they are out of our sight…that we can have some bloody peace of mind when our kids leave the safe haven of our home.

Don’t mind me…I’m just a rambling mom…

P.S. By the way, I should tell everyone that our regular/current Amber Alert GPS units are virtually sold out. If you want the new, exciting Amber Alert GPS 2G, you will have to pre-order them. They come out in February 2009 and the pricing right now on the pre-order is the same as the current model. The prices will go up come February…FYI.
