The Amber Alert GPS tracker was bought for my Autistic granddaughter to wear while at school and away from home. She does wander and we felt a tracker would be an excellent way to make sure she was safe. In late February of this year The principal informed us via email that the tracker was an invasion of privacy for students and staff, along with a FERPA violation (confirmed with FERPA and the tracker is not a violation), and said device would be taken from my granddaughter each day. We attempted to work with the district to no avail. We went to the media with this issue. The Amber Alert Company called us after learning of the situation with a proposed solution that would alleviate the district concerns and allow my granddaughter to have the device at school.
This company in our opinion went above and beyond to ensure everyone could come to a suitable resolution which would allow the use of their product. My family will certainly recommend this company to parents seeking added protection for their loved one. Had the company not intervened, we would probably still be in disagreement with the school district. Hugs, kisses, and total respect go to the individuals responsible for making sure my granddaughter will have an added level of protection which would be instrumental in saving her life should she wander from a safe zone.

I have a 13 year old daughter who likes to walk around the neighborhood with her friends. We live in Chicago, and with summer soon approaching, I purchased the Amber Alert GPS. From the very first day she took possession of this little, unobscured device, we have had peace of mind and a real sense of security. I wasn’t sure if this soon to be 14 year old would appreciate being “tracked” whenever she leaves the safety of her home, but she has no problem with it at all. I never have to tell her to take it with her, and she always charges it when she comes home. She has tested this device a few times by pushing the emergency button, and sure enough, it called my phone (you can add up to 10 phones) and it sent me an email as an alert that the emergency button was activated. Every time I look at her “bread crumbs” (this gives recent locations) it is always spot on, and you can set zones in which the device will alert you if the . I pay $24.99 a month and I tell you it is worth every single penny, and then some. I am grateful to the creators of this device, and I will remain a faithful customer for quite some time!
I would like to thank you for the wonderful gps devices, my 90 year father keeps his on his belt at all times, it is a great comfort to us , to keep track of him, as he still lives alone, it has given him a great piece of mind , to know we are just a push of a button away. Our family was so impressed with the performance of my fathers gps, that we bought one for my wife, who is a long distance trail runner, often by herself, with your device, I can follow her progress, and know exactly where she’s at , if I’m needed, thank you again, feel free to use this if you would like, I am one very satisfied customer.

As a parent of a child with autism, I understand the anxiety many parents feel about the potential their child may wander away in the blink of an eye. The autism community sees time and time again the stories of kids who wander away from their familiar surroundings, placing themselves into dangerous situations. Stories of children who wander away are not common only to the autism community; it can happen to anyone and at any time. As parents, we want to have a way to keep track of our kids and connect to them at a moment’s notice should the need arise. Amber Alert GPS provides that peace of mind! For the past few weeks, our son has carried the Amber Alert GPS and we have found it is an easy to use, interactive product that provides a valuable service to all parents. The products dashboard is easy to use for parents to give a snapshot of where our child has gone and setting up specific “zones” helps give peace of mind knowing our child is where he should be, when he should be there. The Amber Alert GPS product is one that I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone as a tool to help keep track of their child and provide the peace of mind we all really want!

I want to tell you of an incident that happened last year with our two daughters. They wanted to go to the park with their friends so we sent them both with an Amber Alert GPS clipped onto their pants. We set up a zone around the park to know if they left the area. A half hour later I was on my way to the store when I got a text message alerting me from one of my daughters GPS units. I thought for a moment that they probably accidently pushed the “help” button but to be sure I turned around and drove back to the park. The Google map on my phone showed me the exact spot where they were playing I parked on the road next to a big tree and looked up. They were up in the tree having a great time and, just as I thought, one of them had unknowingly pushed the GPS button while climbing. They asked me why I came to the park and I told them that I had gotten an alert from them that they needed help. We laughed.
I was amazed at the accuracy of the device. There was comfort in knowing that I could drive right up to the very spot where they were playing and find everything alright and my daughters knew that I would come to find them if they ever had to push the button in a real emergency. I am thankful for the peace of mind that this kind of technology gives me and that it is such a great tool for our family!
