Our daughter is a college student who recently returned from a mission trip to an Asian country. Your GPS system helped to give us peace of mind as we were able to know her location throughout the trip. Also, we knew that if she were to encounter problems she would be able to trigger the GPS system to summons help to her location.

My wife has Alzheimer’s and on occasion has strayed from me while we are out. This forced me to look for a device that would assist me in locating her should this ever happen again. In doing some intensive research I chose the Amber Alert unit as it appeared to have the functions that I felt I needed to give me a sense of security should something ever happen again. Well the Amber Alert unit absolutely proved itself without a doubt. When we were out shopping and I needed to use the restroom I had instructed my wife to wait for me that I would only be a minute or two and when I came out of the restroom she was gone. I searched the store assuming that she was just looking around in another section of the store but she was nowhere to be found. I then activated the Amber Alert Search System and saw that she was four blocks away from the store and approaching a major HI way. Rushing to my car and with the assistance of the Amber Alert I was able to find her quickly and before she attempted to cross a major highway which could have been disastrous. I can’t express the relief when I saw her just where the Amber Alert indicated she was and was able to avert a potential serious situation where she could have been seriously hurt or worse.

Last night I was sitting here at my computer when I got a phone call. It was my ex-wife telling me to check the Amber Alert GPS. She had told me that somone had taken my daughters back pack by mistake. I then used this as a drill and treated it like the real deal. I then tracked it. It showed it at the pizza place down the street as I was on my way there I had her on the phone with me while she tracked from her computer. I pulled up to the pizza place and the people who mistakenly took the back were about to leave and I was able to get the back pack back in my possession. If this was a real deal I was able to track and get back all my stuff with in 20 minutes of the first call. Thank you.

Peace of mind
As far as I'm aware, the unit we have is doing great! I haven't been "spot-checking" it lately like I did when we first got it. But the battery life is definitely improved! I put it on her in the morning, and don't get "low battery" alerts until well after she's gone to bed.
Thankfully we haven't NEEDED the unit so far, but it gives me great peace of mind to have it. I printed out the log-in info and the call/text instructions and gave them to her school -- and put the principal's cell phone as the 2nd approved number -- so if anything should happen at school they would be able to locate her themselves. They've appreciated that as well.
I think our unit has been fine with finding a signal. Like I said, I haven't been spot-checking it, but when I get the low-battery alerts it always has the correct location.

We are involved in a very serious custody battle with my granddaughter and had to print out reports of her whereabouts every other weekend. We had been using a Zoombak to do this. I had a Zoombak before the Amber. We had to print out the reports immediately or you lose them. I cannot tell you how many times because of a computer glitch or because of a browser problem, I lost valuable data reports that I needed for court.
Whoever thought of the history portion of your Amber site was an absolute genius!! To be able to go back and print those reports is absolutely essential and a Godsend. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Believe me, when I tell you that you have saved me so much trouble with trying to remember where she was and what happened and I know that you helped to save my granddaughter's life, and that is the most important thing.
